Meet Your Hosts
Ted and Mara Chase purchased Summit Mountain lodge in 2013 after falling in love with the area years earlier and wanting to make it home. Their goal is to make your choice of where to stay in Glacier National Park a simple one. Ted is a professional wildlife photographer and third-generation Montanan. He loves to fish and raft. While he grew up in the town of Cascade, both his father and grandfather are from East Glacier. Mara is originally from Guatemala and loves the Montana lifestyle, though admits winters on Marias Pass can be intense. She loves to raft, fly-fish and watch wildlife.
