What People Say About Us

We are Proud to Call Ourselves an Eco-Friendly Resort.

A Piece Of Local History

Summit Mountain Steakhouse is an iconic Great Norther train station built in 1906.

Originally in Glacier National Park, the building was remodeled as a Swiss chalet in 1928 and moved down Highway 2 outside of the Park in the 1980s to where it sits today. Ted and Mara Chase purchased the property in 2013.

Ted is a professional wildlife photographer and third-generation Montanan. Mara is originally from Guatemala and they both love to fly-fish and raft the nearby rivers.
